winning streak?

I won $100 at work this week (if you want to know the story, ask...it's not blog-worthy). I am starting to wonder if I am becoming lucky. Nicole doesn't like that word, which is an interesting thought, but that's beside the point. I rarely won things in the past when there was chance involved (except some "guess the number of candy pieces in the jar" contest on some antique car tour). Now I have won two drawings at work since I started in June. Huh. Curious.

I also should update y'all that I am getting closer to my Basic Certification as a coach. This means that I have been improving my skills and am getting feedback that I'm meeting minimum requirements in the areas we have to focus on / demonstrate in each of our meetings. I just have the oral exam and when I pass that I'll be certified on this basic level. Then I get to start working toward my next level, which will be a really big challenge but will also mean a salary increase and, more importantly, will mean I'm more skilled and confident!

I'm learning lots in this job, including that I am so not as naturally-organized or motivated as I always thought I was. I always wondered how I am a "P" on the Myers-Briggs and I am seeing it so much more clearly in this job. To those of you who always knew (probably Tammy and Lara :) ), please have a good chuckle on my behalf since I'm finally seeing my true organic/fluid/laid-back/anti-structure nature.
